If you haven't been watching closely, you might have missed some big changes in the stock market this year. The Russell 2000, a group of smaller companies, lost its profits for the year. The same happened with the S&P 500 equal weight, another group of companies. Bonds, which people invest in for steady returns, have decreased in value by 14% this year. However, the Nasdaq 100, which includes many big technology companies, has grown a whopping 36%! This is a big differen...

So as you regards probably noticed $PYPL just dropped 7%. If you took time to actually read the Q2 results you will quickly notice that this reaction is stupid af. Revenue is up 7% yoy, operating income up 48%. What’s more important though is that the payment volume is up 11% which means they are holding their market position against Visa and Mastercard. My thesis is that Wallstreet is dumb and forgot to read that the 350mil. negative cashflow is caused by the buy now pay lat...

This is an entertainment investment or retaliatory investment.I have been brainwashed by luxury goods for many years. I remember when I just worked, I spent more than a thousand yuan on a bag made of longchamp plastic in 2006. I didn't buy the first bag of ten thousand yuan until I traveled to Europe in 2013. I was full of desire and consumption, focused on all kinds of luxury goods, envied if I couldn't buy them, and got tired of buying them. I always thought that being able to afford these luxury goods had become a way to prove myself. Until I went to Roewe to buy a bag, and the cabinet sister used to work in Herm è s, I asked her on what basis did they decide whether or not to give the guest a bag? She says their idea is to find people who agree with their brand and like their brand to carry Herm è s through their lives.I suddenly feel that buying only one bag doesn't prove anything at all. Can I buy a bag and keep buying different bags all the time?At that time, I already had something to buy in 2018. $Hermes International SA(HESAY.US$Bag money, when I walked into the window, I found that I did not want to spend this money to prove that I am rich and have the ability to make money. I did not have the ability of Herm è s until his death, so I was relieved and relaxed. At the same time, I also feel that I have the ability to afford it. I can choose to buy or not to buy, but I have no desire. In recent years, the sword has gone too far, paying more attention to insurance, stocks, real estate and other things that can generate money, while luxury goods.
