Options are powerful investing and trading tools. Many investors are aware of this fact but are still hesitant about using them. There is a lot to learn about options and other derivatives, and it is reasonable to be concerned about risks when there are unknowns.
The trouble with learning about options is that most introductions to the subject begin with the technical details. They are a lot, and getting a basic understanding of options can feel like wa...

I officially started my Sell Put / Sell Call Wheel Strategy in August 2025, and looking back… I’m honestly shocked at how far I’ve come. As a complete newbie, I never imagined that option premiums alone could generate real returns — especially when it’s pure profit from margin (yes, my cost was RM0 the whole time 🤯).
To date, I’ve accumulated RM6,500 in premium profit. It may not be a crazy number compared to seasoned traders, but f...

Last week, we welcomed Peter McDonagh, Senior Financial Adviser at Rivkin, for a deep dive into tax-smart investing and the power of choosing the right structure. Peter unpacked strategies normally reserved for high-net-worth clients and broke them down into clear, practical steps you can apply right away.
If you missed it, here’s a sharp recap of the themes that had the audience taking notes.

There are some “investment suggestions.” If you follow them blindly, you could actually lose money. I hope everyone is cautious.
People say, “Gold jewelry is worth buying. Gold investment starts with jewelry.”
Sounds very professional and very confident.
But unfortunately, after doing some actual research, I found out:
Gold jewelry has never been an investment item (you might get robbed if you show it off); it’s merely decorative.
Labor costs are high, losses are recovered, and it is sold only at the price of gold.
If I really want to invest personally, why not consider a gold concept ETF? As shown, the profit was over 20%.
What can truly preserve value and hedge against inflation should actually be “gold bars,” not jewelry.
This is my personal experience based on research, and may not be applicable to everyone.
People who encourage others to buy gold jewelry as an investment,
They usually share one common trait:
They are vocal but not accountable, and they do not take responsibility for your losses. Therefore, you need to be discerning enough to distinguish truth from falsehood.
Now I no longer blindly follow what others say. I will verify first, learn first, and confirm first.
Being victimized once was someone else’s fault;
Being victimized repeatedly is my own issue.
So, if you like gold jewelry, buy it; just wear it and enjoy it.
But as an “investment”? That seems rather far-fetched.
Thank you very much for these suggestions.![]()

Oracle’s Q2 FY26 results showcase a soaring AI cloud backlog and strong OCI growth, but also sharply higher capex, negative free cash flow and rising debt, putting Oracle’s balance sheet in the spotlight.
From here, the story is less about signing even bigger AI deals, and more about turning the existing backlog into revenue, earnings and cash while keeping the balance sheet under control.
