If this plays out in its entirety then we're only halfway there. Target is around 32-33.

1. Search for the most liquid contracts, i.e. those with a very small bid-ask spread. This ensures that you can get in AND out of the trade quickly at the price you choose.
2. Make sure that the duration of the contract makes sense in light of the time frame of your trade. You wouldn't want to buy a 0DTE for a pattern that took weeks to set up.
3. "Buy low, sell high" also applies to IV in the options world. If you buy contracts with a high IV rank or percentile (such as right be...

Ooof. If this rising wedge plays out ADA has much further to fall. I'll be waiting to buy.

BTC broke out from its multi-week rising channel a few weeks ago. Hit ATHs then started showing some weakness. The daily RSI is not showing a clear pattern, and we can clearly see a symmetrical triangle on the 4-hour. Based on the RSI it would indicate that this may break to the upside, but one could definitely view this as a bear flag on the daily. It's likely we either retest ATHs soon, or (probably more likely) go back down and test the previous resistance line of the ascend...

There is a medium-term rising wedge forming, whose target breakdown would be either 40 or 46, depending on when it actually breaks down. Looks like an ascending triangle on the 4-hour, however, which could potentially take us back up to around 70 first.
See my post on BTC, which is showing a slightly different pattern.

Gotta love how Rob Ginsberg, the only analyst to honestly call this a bubble, is labeled as the "pessimist."
It's obvious what all these other analysts are doing. Initially their price estimates were around $600/share, and once that was hit so quickly they just raised it again. I don't believe they're doing any due diligence in determining the actual demand for AI, but instead just pumping the stock while AI hype is strong.
This bubble, and that is what it is, will pop. Don't become a bagholder....

What comes to my mind immediately in light of a potentially strengthening Japanese economy is how this may affect their central bank's current policy of yield curve control. A stronger Yen means a weaker dollar, relatively.
Would they buy more US treasuries in order to keep the Yen from becoming too strong, or would they instead prefer to see a strong Yen? If the latter occurs, they could become the US "bond vigilante" that so many have feared for years, either causing US bond yields to rise rap...

Paying close attention to this. Strongly considering buying a leap put on SPY, slightly OTM. Some analysts are expecting a 40-50% market selloff. A put with a strike price of ~375 would protect against a roughly 20% selloff. If we got a massive selloff it would pay off handsomely.
I'm not hoping for a market crash, but definitely trying to prepare for it.
God bless, everyone!

$Cardano(ADA.CC$ ADA is so hopelessly dependent on the price of BTC it lags behind on the gains but takes all of the downside... And I love ADA.

DudeThatsDerpyOP BFSkinner: Mostly, although ADA does have its own price-action.
DudeThatsDerpyOP The Neglect: The pattern took weeks to form, so it would likely take weeks to play out.
DudeThatsDerpyOP The Neglect: That's perfectly fine. To me, the technicals say this should head down around 32-34, which is a significant percentage lower than where it currently sits. I would prefer to buy at much lower levels and am OK with potentially missing out if I'm wrong.
