I redeemed a SGD 20 fund cash coupon, thinking I could use it to top up to my existing fund. To my surprise, there's a t&c that I wasn't made aware of, where the coupon can only be used if you deposit additional SGD 20,000.
Please beware. This coupon is basically useless to me now and I can't even refund it. I find @Moomoo SG increasingly non-transparent, almost like they are deliberately attempting to deceive people.

In a world of uncertainty, I seek avenues that offer stability and potential for growth while minimizing exposure to market volatility.
1. Money Market Funds
I will park my idle funds in money market funds (such as offered by Moomoo Cash Plus) to safeguard my capital while still earning a competitive yield. What I like most about it is the liquidity, stability and minimal risk.

1. (50% of my cash reserve) Accumulate some cheap dividend stocks at bargain like $AbbVie(ABBV.US$ $Camping World(CWH.US$ $JPMorgan(JPM.US$. They provide a nice hedge against inflation and is a good way to get paid during rocky market like this.
2. For my existing long positions like $Lucid Group(LCID.US$ $Apple(AAPL.US$ $Plug Power(PLUG.US$, I will continue to sell covered calls against them to collect sweet premiums.
3. Hold enough cash so that I can buy stocks I want when they reach my price target. I'm definitely adding $Alphabet-C(GOOG.US$ to my portfolio before the split. Meanwhile, I will take a very small portion of my cash reserve to do some short-term swing trading.

I am mostly a long-term investor, so I'm not too stressed about short term market decline. However, I started swing trading and scalping this year to take advantage of the market volatility to make some quick bucks. I'd be careful buying options though because of the IV and premium pumps. Prefer buying common stocks at low and sell higher.

This is the last thing we need unless the share price has been strong. I'm not overly excited about this. What are the chances of $NIO Inc(NIO.US$ going the non-dilutive route?
