How do you select short-term potential stocks from 1,000 listed companies every day? Do you really need to look at them one by one?
This is where Screener comes in handy and saves you a lot of time. So how do you set up the screener? I'll share what I think is the easiest and most practical method to help you filter out most of the stocks with lower potential.
1. First click on Market below
2. Then select MY (Malaysia Market), then click the Screener function
3. Since I focus on horse stocks, I would choose Malaysia for REGION, then Main and Ace Markets
4. On the price side, I set 10 cents to RM2.00 (you can change it according to your own preferences), then I will place the volume for over 500k on the same day, then select more than 1m (1000k) for 10 days from Customize to filter out stocks with no liquidity
5. Next is Compensation, which represents the stock's trading value for the day. I'll set it at 1mil or more (if it's Screen after 4 p.m.). Of course, if it's a morning screen, you can lower it by 300k-500k.
6. Finally, there's the Technical Part. I'll choose the Daily EMA. EMA 25 is greater than EMA 50...

"Non-farm data" is a common term in various analyses, but what exactly is "non-farm"? And why does this data have such an impact on the market?
What is US Non-Farm Data?
