$Nippon Telegraph & Telephone (9432.JP)$ is the world's forth largest telecommunications company in terms of revenue.
It is also the largest publicly traded company in Japan after $Toyota Motor (7203.JP)$ and $Sony Group (6758.JP)$.
It has a great track record in dishing out dividends. And judging by its stability, it could be one of the stocks that Japanese investors might consider in curating their first stock portfolio.

Earlier in February, both S&P 500 and Nasdaq soared to about five-month highs as Meta led a rally in the tech sector. However, the good times did not last long. Elevated valuations for overall US stocks, poor financial reports during earnings season, and rising interest rates left little room for future gains. Major indexes fell following the release of hotter-than-expected data on the labor market and consumer spending in mid-Feb.

A fake in basketball is when a player pretends to either shoot, move or pass and does a different action in order to separate themselves from their defender. Sometimes, we can also see the stock market making fake moves, like people doing them on the basketball field. A sudden up and down is somehow deceptive. Investors should see through the intention and roll with the punches.
