What is Xpeng waiting for?
$XPeng(XPEV.US$
Xpeng has been trading very well. It is sitting right below the bull flag resistance line and below the 100-day Ema. It seems to be just eating time for the next leg up. My guess is that it is waiting for the full month sales announcement on Dec 1st to see the sales on the new line of cars. The week insurance announcement today was very positive, Xpeng is rank 4th for November, but the 2nd to the 4th place is almost a tie anyway.

Sit on your hands period
$SPDR S&P 500 ETF(SPY.US$
This is the sit on your hands period. The market is trying very hard to find a reason to move higher. We are only 3 days away from closing November. If we close November on at this high, it will lead into Xmas December.
Follow for more.

2024 will become a turning point in China's semi-autonomous driving market

Komo released a research report saying that advanced autonomous driving in China will usher in commercialization, that future models without semi-autonomous driving functions may be difficult to sell, and that 2024 is expected to be an important turning point in the development of China's semi-autonomous driving market (L3/4 level). Apple $Apple(AAPL.US$ is currently just over 17x the size of Disney $Disney(DIS.US$ . This peaked at 19.96x on 9/5/23. A little over 16 years ago in February 2007, these two had the same market caps at just over $72 billion. Apple is now at $2.97 trillion while Disney is at $173 billion.

$Disney(DIS.US$ - Going long in a down trend is always rough, so i would only be looking to go with 50% of a normal position size.
- That being said, we are testing another break and hold over the 50sma on the weekly.
- CHoCH occurred last week when we broke through this level and held.
- We really want to see a continued rally and break through $96. Once that level is taken, we will see our target of $104

I think adding it to Dis+ would be interesting. Theyre trialing combining it with Hulu in December which i think is a good move, the same will likely be done with ESPN when it works out.
Imagine Dis+ (150m subs), Hulu (50m), ESPN+ (50m), could make for around 250m subs depending on if you include redundancies or not. Netflix has 250m subs, Amazon has 200m (how many use prime video?).
Youre ignoring the huge benefit of linear media, its a cash cow that is facilitating changing times. I dont know ...

ESPN is 80% owned by Disney and 20% by Hearst.
ESPN is the most expensive channel carried in this country. It costs $9.50 per cable subscription, or close to $13 per when you figure in all of the other ESPN properties.
Disney stock is down almost 19% from its 52-week high and it is spending close to $9 billion to buy the remainder of Hulu from Comcast, which owns NBC. It was at $189 a share less than three years ago and now trades for $96.
