$ConocoPhillips(COP.US$ The recent "green bill passed by the U.S. in addition to the renegotiation of the JCPOA may drop oil stocks significantly in the medium term and to an even greater degree in the long term.
Any thoughts from investors in this sector? I'm asking because I've invested money in companies like Conoco and Oxy so I'm wondering if it's time to jump ship.

Aliencreation : I think context is important. Personally, I'm investing with long positions. If NVIDIA and Amazon drop to $1 because of widespread panic or inflation, I'm just going to invest more money. Solid companies don't just vanish and they almost always rebound. This is why the concept of a bubble bursting is silly. However, if you're just trying to flip stocks for profit, there's definitely a cause for concern. Tech companies have been oversold and now with competitors rising, there's going to be a major pullback. Microsoft creating a partnership with ARM has already knocked NVIDIA back a bit. This trend will continue as the AI race heats up. Ultimately, this is a good thing for innovation but not so good if you dump your purse on a bad price.
