partnership with Sinopec and now CNPC will only open more doors for European oil company partnerships later down the road when Nio expands to Europe next year. Because Nio will have already shown its growth and heavy usage in China and now hopefully europe for swap stations. Then Nio will be known internationally for its swap stations throughout the EV industry and it will become a high demand car than anyone else because it offers a service that nobody else does. Literally nobody….

Earlier this month, Deutsche Bank’s Edison Yu issued a Catalyst Call on Nio (NIO) $NIO Inc(NIO.US)$ stock, recommending it as a short-term play, based on the premise the stock was ripe for a turnaround after falling ~30% from February's peak.
The idea did not work out as planned initially. While Yu concedes his call might have been too early as he underestimated a number of “tactical factors,” the analyst sees several reasons why investor sentiment “should be close to bottoming.” Well, it appears the market has been taking notes, as shares climbed 7% higher in Monday’s session.

Looking at the consensus breakdown, almost all of Yu’s colleagues agree; barring one Hold, all 7 other recent reviews are positive, culminating in a Strong Buy consensus rating. The average price target is a more modest $57.13, yet the figure still implies one-year upside of 35%

Chinese electric car start-up $XPeng(XPEV.US)$ plans to become a global automaker, with half of vehicle deliveries going to countries outside China, vice president and chairman Brian Gu said Wednesday.
Gu said the company expects to enter Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands next year.
Xpeng and Chinese rivals $NIO Inc(NIO.US)$ and $BYD Company ADR(BYDDY.US)$ have already begun expanding to Norway in the last year.
Profitability still elusive
U.S.-listed Xpeng’s shares rose more than 8% overnight after the company reported a beat on revenue in the third quarter, coming in at 5.72 billion yuan ($887.7 million). That topped expectations of 5.03 billion yuan, according to StreetAccount.
However, the start-up reported a greater-than-expected loss of 1.77 yuan (27 cents) per share, versus expectations of an 1.17 yuan loss, according to StreetAccount.
Gu said Wednesday he expects the automaker can reach breakeven in two years.
