Protection in a BEAR Market
since I have some time here is a little help in this bear market.
How to protect your portfolio;
Buy a leveraged Inverse ETF - Leveraged ETFs do the work of options for you. They leverage options, company and government bonds, futures or some combination of them to obtain a return near their stated goal. (SQQQ has a goal of 3 times the inverse of QQQ etc.)
$ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ ETF(SQQQ.US$ Very easy, QQQ goes down SQQQ goes up 3 times what QQQ went down.

well that was a day. I have never sold so much. A brief post of where I believe we are and where we are going
Today popped off just as I had hoped, QQQ rocketed to 300 premarket and 297 after open. That was a 4% gain at open! And I was a selling fool!
I was also a buying fool. I went short right as I was selling, it was beautiful, but will it continue?
if you follow me you know I have been waiting on a push upwards before a significant drop... I believe we ...

$Bed Bath & Beyond Inc(BBBY.US$ an update on my position, iam essentially even. iam profitable above 3.3 and my options are ITM so they fluctuate roughly the same (iam down roughly 1 or 2 dollars per contract). But iam not worried at all, not in the least, not even a little. My target is still 9!

This should be somewhat bullish for equities. Futures markets worldwide are getting a pop. Yields in Europe and US are dropping with the dollar. I doubt this will last very long in this bear market.
