I think retirement is now an outdated concept. With people living longer than ever, spending such a long period of time in retirement is not only just boring but can be quite a torture. Instead, I believe we should all be living in the present moment more, yet not forgetting about saving and investing for the rainy day.

1. Bitcoin is now at its lowest level since 2020
The world's leading digital asset, $Bitcoin(BTC.CC$, fell as much as 17% on Monday to below $23,000, the lowest it's been since 2020. $200 billion wiped off crypto market over the weekend.
Meanwhile, a crypto lending company called Celsius has paused withdrawals for its customers "due to extreme market conditions," sparking fears of contagion into the broader market.

The war in Ukraine has caused lots of chaos and volatility in the markets. It has also caused oil prices to skyrocket.
The war may or may not end soon but it will eventually end. In the meantime it has been a roller coaster ride for investors.
When there is Fear and Panic in the market, it is a great time to buy quality stocks like Apple and Microsoft. In the long run they will grow exponentially and we can harvest the bumper profits.

I developed a trading philosophy by getting my start in Crypto, where volatility swings are a mile a minute, and trading is 24 hours each day.
You gotta learn that just because your on-paper-value has shed $1000, you can't panic; Hold it tighter. If you can't comfortably hold it, ask yourself why you bought stock in a company you have no faith in. If you're going to jump ship at the first sign of a low tide, why did you want to take the ride?

Some people say comparison is necessary for everything. It can be a powerful tool for personal growth. It is like a compass for lives, always pointing in the right direction for you.
However, most self-help articles and books encourage people to stop comparing themselves to others.
"To compare is to despair," they say.
Especially don't compare your investment returns with others.
It may sow seeds of discontent and envy and may ultimately be counte...

According to this article (https://www.marketplace.org/2021/08/04/what-freight-rail-tells-us-about-the-economy/), Warren Buffett was once being asked which economic indicator he would choose if he were stranded on a desert island, and with access to only one set of economic statistics (e.g. consumer confidence, inflation, unemployment, etc.), and he picked freight rail traffic. The reason is that when rail is doing well, it usually means the eco...

Fed officials stress not jamming brakes on economy as hikes loom
Federal Reserve officials said they want to avoiding unnecessarily disrupting the U.S. economy as they prepare to start raising interest rates, showing little stomach for an aggressive 50 basis-point move in March.
