$Moderna(MRNA.US)$ Karma for Moderna for the CEO's idiotic and unfounded comments yesterday about omicron virus not effective through existing vaccines, information that has not backup and rattled the overall markets in the early morning hours. Some CEO's are out only to falsify information to protect their products and share. Fraud and immoral.

$Moderna(MRNA.US)$ The vaccines are NOT vaccines- they are gene therapies. Even Dr. Fraudci would have to admit that point. Real vaccines take years to develop and test.

$General Motors(GM.US)$ With good earnings while pushing for EV future, GM is a no brainer. Much safer compared to any other EV companies. Never interested in GM vehicles until Lyriq...

A federal appeals court has upheld a ruling by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to not invalidate patents held by $Arbutus Biopharma(ABUS.US)$, dealing a blow to $Moderna(MRNA.US)$.
The court ruled that Moderna had no standing to appeal.
The patents in question cover a novel lipid formulation for nucleic acid delivery. These lipid nanoparticles are essential to protect mRNA therapies as they travel through the body to cells.
As a result, Arbutus may be eligible for royalties from Moderna from sales of its COVID-19 vaccine.
Moderna had argued that the claims in the patents were obvious and upholding them would open the company to patent infringement lawsuits.
Moderna loses patent fight against Arbutus related to vaccines; Arbutus up 40%

$Grab Holdings(GRAB.US)$ I am neutral on shares, but I bought a number of Jan and April calls on $Altimeter Growth Corp(AGC.US)$ to take advantage of the volatility spike at merger. We had very low IV and historical volatility up until Aug 30 when the Motley Fool article came out about Grab's Q1 results. The IV spiked and dipped, but is still at elevated levels compared to before Aug 30. That being said, it is still below average and way below the peak around AGC's announcement of Grab as its target. There a number of compelling reasons why I think we will see a pop before merger, with a possibility of a selloff after.

$Rivian Automotive(RIVN.US)$ Rivian is the best looking EV truck. It doesn't look like Battlestar Galactica, and it's not destined to be Found On Road Dead, like $Ford Motor(F.US)$, which were notorious for coming with parts that just break down in succession. Rivian fills a long sought after demand, from the truck people, contractors, and even women who Love their trucks, for the first EV truck that checks all boxes that truck lovers actually want.
Sure, it's not gonna launch to the Moon, like $Tesla(TSLA.US)$, overnight, but it's a reputable, real, concern that shall most definitely be profitable and grow into it's value. People are actually buying Rivian EV trucks, as well as RIVN stock, in order to send a clear message to other auto makers, which is, 'We Want the Non-natural disasters making EV truck, which looks like a real truck and can function like one, and we want it Now, not in a hundred freaking years, already!'
Other auto makers, besides now converted and cutting edge Ford, have been deaf, dumb, and mute to this SCREAMING DEMAND from truck consumers and lovers shocked that nobody has heard it but Rivian. Ford has heard it and is answering the call, but so many of us have been burned by shoddy Ford work many times before. They still have that nasty reputation for the acronym their company name ironically, and somewhat comedically, spells out. 'Found On Road Dead.'
Rivian has like 50-60,000 actual individuals' orders for their trucks, they have an order for 100,000 Amazon EV delivery vans, and now they're working to make RV EVs for Outdoorsy. The future looks bright for Rivian. Stop bashing Both the truck and the growth stock.

$Ford Motor(F.US)$ For all the talk about the Ford's anti-semitism is has to be remembered that Henry Ford was happy to do business with Soviet Russia in the 1930s. Indeed, a case could be made that Henry Ford did more than any other individual American to bring on the demise of Hitler's Germany.
Henry Ford helped pioneer a fine American tradition of U.S. corporations selling their technology to oppressive regimes everywhere no matter what its ideology was. Just as long as at the moment they weren't enemies of the U.S.

$Rivian Automotive(RIVN.US)$ will have trouble with: mass production, product differentiation, product line expansion and growing out of the niche of high end off roading.
$Tesla(TSLA.US)$ can keep its techie image and still go to a 20-25k car. Rivian can't.
Rivian has no budding Energy division.
Amazon can demand their order be filled using scarce chips and batteries before customer vehicles are made.
    And competition.
Tesla wasn't competing against a Tesla so it looked extra easy. Success for Rivian is far from assured.

    $Ford Motor(F.US)$ Cost to retire debt: $14B
    Value of F’s $Rivian Automotive(RIVN.US)$ equity: $12B
Seems straightforward enough, especially since the divorce was expected.
