$Block(SQ.US)$ is changing its corporate name to Block as the company continues to focus on developing blockchain tech solutions.
Shares rise 1.1% in after-hours trading.
There will be no organizational changes as Square, Cash App, TIDAL and TBD54566975 will continue to maintain their respective brands.
As a result of the name change, Square Crypto, a separate initiative of the company dedicated to advancing Bitcoin, will also change its name to Spiral.
The legal name "Square, Inc." is expected to be officially changed to "Block, Inc." on or about Dec. 10 of this year, and the company's NYSE ticker symbol "SQ" will not change at this time, the company says.
"Block is a new name, but our purpose of economic empowerment remains the same," Square Co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey says.

$Apple(AAPL.US)$ I believe these will sell in greater numbers than in years past, as people come to terms with their decreased discretionary income resulting from inflation. The subsidized versions from prepaid carriers should sell very well. They are a relative bargain so long as Google can't manage to compel Android phone OEMs to continue security updates for 4-5 years as Apple pushes to its cheaper phones. Apple's able to differentiate its budget iPhone thanks to what appears to be either laziness or else an unwillingness on Google's part to enforce security standards on OEMs licensing its code. This is demonstrated by indie Android OS's like LineageOS providing security updates based on Google's open source AOSP code for old phones from 2014 like the Samsung Galaxy S3

Apple has limited cannibalization of the more expensive Apple phones' sales by keeping the screen on the smaller end, although the processor and overall quality remains high relative to Androids priced at these levels.

$Bitcoin(BTC.CC)$ Fidelity Investments is launching a Spot Bitcoin ETF in Canada, as the U.S. based firm is not waiting around for the Securities Exchange Commission to approve a decision in the United States.
Fidelity's ETF is called the $FIDELITY ADVANTAGE BITCOIN ETF UNIT SER L CAD(FBTC.CA)$, and it will directly obtain physical Bitcoin. Meaning the fund will buy actual Bitcoin rather than acquire it through a derivative instrument.
Fidelity's move just adds more fuel to the fire as one of America's largest asset managers with over $4T AUM is forced to create a product in Canada to meet their client's demands. At the same time, regulators in its own country still weigh their options on whether or not to approve a Spot Bitcoin ETF.
The new fund will also be actively managed.
Bitcoin price action: -1.4% on Tuesday and +98.1% year-to-date.
Canada is not the only country that has approved a Spot Bitcoin exchange traded fund. Recently Singapore joined the list as it now offers investors exposure to a Spot Bitcoin ETF.

Total YTD deliveries reached 80,940 vehicles, up 120.4% Y/Y.
Cumulative deliveries of the ES8, ES6 and EC6 as of November 30, 2021 reached 156,581.
