Get out of your options if they only have 30 days of time left.
Not buying enough time:
However much time you think you'll need, add on at least one more month and buy the options with that much time.
Unrealistic expectations and buying low probability options:
Buy options with a minimum delta of 60%, and preferably 70% or more.
