I actually work for a business in Australia that does R&D for Toyota in Altona in Melbourne, We’re developing their electric Hilux’s and Land-cruiser’s as they’re behind the mark with other businesses in the field i.e $Tesla (TSLA.US)$        specifically Toyota has found itself with essentially it’s tail between their legs and have been behind other manufacturers in electric segment which is making their I.C.E business untenable to shareholders and banks.
Cool note also all three of these companies run as Keiretsu’s.
