Most of Iran’s 10 point proposal was agreed upon except for Iran’s nuclear capabilities. The strange part is Vance insisited Iran would not be allowed to develop a nuclear “weapon”, but Iran’s official stance has always been that their nuclear programme has always been for peaceful purposes. They even have a fatwa forbidding the development of nuclear weapons. Because of that, I wonder if there was even any plan to cut a deal in the first place.
