In the latest quarter, Yinson handed over record high Revenue and Net Profit, and the net profit of RM230 mil has already surpassed the blue-chip DIALOG stock.
The company has over RM100 billion in contracts, so it will be very busy for 10 years. However, many contracts also mean that more capital is needed to operate, so the company has raised the Right Issue before. However, since there are really too many contracts, the company has handed over Negative Operating Cash Flow for 3 years in a row. Total bank loans in the latest quarter have climbed to RM11.058 billion, far exceeding the market value of RM7.6 billion.
Yinson's profit from operation is RM643 mil, but finance cost is RM202 mil, and profit after tax after income tax is RM275 mil. After deducting non-control interest, the final net profit was RM230 mil.
YINSON's profit grew 46% last year and 66.5% in the first half of this year. Theoretically, high growth can drive higher valuations. The annual net profit is expected to hit a new high of RM850 - 900 mil, but the valuation is now in single digits...
