it has already hit all time high and remains above previous highs
even if the buyers ain't to shield against all time highs by buying gold, it's unreasonable to think that the majority of the market will willingly let themselves miss the bull market opportunity

but the market has been uncertain several since the end of 2025
you can argue that many countries are increasing their gold purchase amount, but the other countries can buy for an entire decade, meaning 48 quarters in a row, and they would barely have enough gold to match US's current gold depository
USD will remain the dominant currency for a while, this is strengthened by how every currencies moved after the recent FOMC meeting, you can't say USD is insignificant
and there is nothing stronger than greed, a lot of people read the news, talk with friends and relatives, "wah, everyone is earning so much, I should invest in the market too", this is why the market is able to keep up with its current irrational state
