$Rivian Automotive(RIVN.US$ Personally I think $90 to $100 is a good buy point for the long term. When Tesla $Tesla(TSLA.US$ first appeared no one even new if EVs would be a huge thing nor were they backed by an Amazon with a load of pre orders. It makes perfect sense to me that Rivian could have a higher starting point. I think $10 is unlikely but who knows what could happen, anything can happen with stocks.

Elon Musk has consistently supported $Dogecoin(DOGE.CC$ , a meme-inspired cryptocurrency. He's invested in it, along with $Bitcoin(BTC.CC$ and $Ethereum(ETH.CC$ .
Musk sees dogecoin as the best cryptocurrency to transact with.
"Fundamentally, bitcoin is not a good substitute for transactional currency,"
Musk told Time Magazine after being named Time's 2021 Person of the Year.
"Even though it was created as a silly joke, dogecoin is better suited for transactions."
The price of Bitcoin soon took a dive after the interview.
Any thought on Musk's word? Will his opinion push you to buy/sell any related cryptocurrency?

$Pfizer(PFE.US$ and its partner $BioNTech(BNTX.US$ plan to ask the FDA in the next few days to authorize booster shots of its COVID-19 vaccine for 16 and 17 year olds, The Washington Post reports.
Two sources told the newspaper that the agency is expected to quickly sign off on the request.
New data from Israel on boosters in this age group is said to have reassured the FDA that cases of myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle, in men is very rare.
The CDC today said that all adults 18 and over should get a booster shot in light of the potential impact of the Omicron variant.

El Salvador is doubling down on its bet on $Bitcoin(BTC.CC$, detailing plans to build a modern Alexandria called "Bitcoin City." The metropolis would be circular, with an airport, residential and commercial areas, and feature a central plaza designed to look like a Bitcoin symbol from the air. Geothermal energy would be provided from the Conchagua volcano in southeastern El Salvador, while the city would not levy any taxes (property, income or capital gains) except for VAT.
Flashback: In June, El Salvador passed a law making it the first country in the world to accept Bitcoin as legal tender, while the plan took effect in September with the launch of the Chivo Wallet, a government sponsored digital wallet designed to facilitate transactions. Despite the hype, dollars remain by far the main medium of exchange, as well as the currency coming into the country. In September and October, Salvadoreans abroad sent only $32M in remittances back home using the Chivo Wallet, representing about 2.5% of the total remittances.
"This is going to make El Salvador the financial center of the world," President Nayib Bukele declared. "Invest here and make all the money you want... This is a fully ecological city that works and is energized by a volcano." See the full speech at #FeelTheBit.
Construction of "Bitcoin City" will begin in 2022 and will be funded initially by sovereign bonds backed by the cryptocurrency. The first 10-year issue would be worth $1B, and carry a coupon of 6.5%, with half of the sum going to buy Bitcoin on the market and the other half used for infrastructure and Bitcoin mining. After a five year lock-up, El Salvador would start selling some of the Bitcoin used to fund the bond to give investors an "additional coupon," and other bonds would follow.
Volatility watch: Bitcoin has slipped about 16% from its record high of $68,990 which it reached earlier this month, but it is still up more than 90% this year. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is down 2.6% to $57,596

$Singtel(Z74.SG$ Singtel was authorised to buy back 826M shares, well that's around $2 billion! Max short position at it's peak was ~90M, now around 53M. Thus in short, if Singtel can pull their resources together and has a serious go to push up the price, shortists will be burnt. Imo Singtel is in the driver seat and it's up to the shorts to cover. The devils are probably in the details though, let's see.
