My most profitable stock so far this year has been $NVIDIA(NVDA.US$ which almost tripled in value year to date and recently joined the trillion-dollar club. In fact, it is my multi-bagger in the shortest time. I plan to continue holding onto this mega winner, as my holding period is forever for a fundamentally strong company. With increasing hype on artificial intelligence and Nvidia’s industry leadership and market dominance in AI chip, I believe that the stock will be ...

Thanks to Moomoo for building and maintaining a cost-efficient platform for trading and investing, and a vibrant community for sharing of ideas, experience and knowledge!
I like Moomoo’s immediate SGD deposit and withdrawal functions via DDA account. There's little if any delay in the funding process during business hours, so that the funds can be deployed almost instantly to take advantage of the prevailing market prices.

If I’ve to describe my 2022 portfolio in one word, it’ll have to be “boring”. The core and largest composition of my portfolio is in the banking sector and primarily in our local banking trio DBS, OCBC and UOB that have returned over 4%, 8% and 16% year to date respectively before dividends.
I’ve been holding DBS for the longest time, gradually increasing my stake whenever the stock was on sale, such as when investors were rushing for exits during the onset of COVID-19 pandemic.

$Hang Seng Index(800000.HK$ recorded a 27% increase in November, the largest monthly increase since 1998. The trend continued into early December and was further reinforced by rounds of policy easing of restrictions last week.
As China's epidemic policy is further relaxed, Wall Street's calls to buy Chinese concept stocks are getting louder.

The greatest setback in my investment journey was my loss of over S$500K literally overnight in a stock speculation, at a time when my newborn was barely 1 month old and my company was retrenching. The stock was suspended from trading after an accounting fraud was uncovered, and eventually delisted.
The loss was the equivalence of a typical 5-bedroom HDB flat or a small private apartment then, so it still aches me whenev...

I used to think that avid football fans would be too focussed on World Cup tournaments and too tired after staying up late to catch live matches, that they would ignore the stock markets the next day after matches of their favourite teams, especially if they became disheartened after their favourite teams lost.
I read a study that found that on average after a nation’s football team lost in the World Cup, its stock market the followi...

When to start investing? The standard answer you heard is probably NOW!
This is true to some extent, but if we dig a bit deeper, a better interpretation might be: the best time to start learning about investing is NOW, but the best time to invest is when an asset's market value is below intrinsic value.
Amid such a sharp pullback from last December, some investors have cashed in on their money, waiting for the"right" moment to enter trades again. F...
