My golden rule as a dad to my son for short term trading is:
Do not be greedy ! and enter during uptrend, not when price is sliding.
If doing short term trades, set loss/gain target and buy only at uptrend:
Example:
Gain target 5%, sell once hit gain of 5%
Loss target 5%, sell also once hit loss of 5%.
most important of all, buy in during uptrend and not during downtrend, never catch a falling knife.
This is applicable for a period of within 5 trading days....
