Many headlines are stating that Michael Burry just bought $1.6 billion of $SPDR S&P 500 ETF(SPY.US$ and $Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US$ puts.
However, this is very misleading as the real value of the puts he bought is much LOWER.
NOMINAL VALUE is reported, not the amount Burry paid for the puts.
Due to the way options are reported, this is a common misconception.
Calculated portfolio weighting for option...

$MicroCloud Hologram(HOLO.US$ and $Bright Health Group(BHG.US$ look to be the most promising for payouts. Rest of the market is looking like a market wide pullback is going to happen today. Hopefully the market will change in the next hour and turn positive.

$Ault Alliance(AULT.US)$ Don't follow hopium cat will only cost you money in end. Did same thing with this stock at $2 only abandon Ault & watch stock fall 6 cents. Don't purchase Ault until price is below $3. 👉🤑👈 Hopium is quite dangerous and can cause death. Just look towards Ukraine 4 perfect example dangers of hopium.

Volatility is good for traders.
Don’t follow the earnings and think that a good earnings report means that the price will fly to the moon.
Watch what the traders are doing and where is the price is going on the day and decide the direction of trade.
With the same ticker, you can go long one day and short the other.
Case in point, if you went long the day $Palantir(PLTR.US$ released the report and short the next few days, and then long again yesterda...

WTI crude reached a high of USD130.50 in Mar 2022 after the Russia- Ukraine war started. Then it fell to a low of USD64.12 on the back of the banking crisis and recession fear about 2 weeks ago. That's a fall of 50.9%. It's the surest sign that the oil market is factoring in a recession.

Hello Mooers , welcome to our topic on long-term investment.
Today, we are going to try something new . We are going to use our TOPI matrix to decide how to go about with our investment.
The TOPI matrix covers Timeframe, Objectives, Positioning and Investment.
Timeframe [T]
First, we decide if we are going to put our money for short term (1 to 3 years), mid term (3 to 8 years) or long term (more than 8 years), before we harvest to pay for our goals.
Objectives [O] (or Goals)
Next, we need to find out our objectives (or goals) that we wish to achieve. These can be down-payment for a car or birthday gifts for our loved ones (short term goals), buying a new house or going for an oversea tour (mid term goal) or our retirement (long term goal).
Positioning [P] strategies
After setting our objectives, we use different positioning strategies to help us. Positioning strategies includes short term trading (positions that last at most a day), mid term trading (positions that last at most a month), long term trading (positions that last more than a month) and size of position (the amount of money into the investment for each position). We can choose the positioning strategies that we are more comfortable with.
Investment [I]
Lastly, we decide what kind of investment that we are keen & comfortable with. It can be short term investment (e.g. saving accounts, fixed deposit), mid term investment (e.g. bonds, index funds), long term investment (e.g. blue chips stocks), low risk investment (e.g. saving account), mid risk investment (e.g. index funds) and high risk investment (e.g. cryptocurrencies & commodities). It can also be mixture of any of them too.
By using the TOPI matrix, we can customize our investment to suit any duration investment, be it short term, mid term or long term ones, and to achieve the objectives that we set earlier.
Before we end, I would like to share a book, titled 'A Few Lessons for Investors and Managers From Warren Buffett'. It is one of the best book that summarize the essence of Warren Buffett knowledge in 81 pages.
