Earning extra money just gotten easier for options trader
TLDR: Using SmartSave combo on my cash-secured PUT options gave me an extra USD305.97 for doing nothing, however this could have been USD611.94 as 50% of the cash can't be put into cash plus. On 6th September 2023, @Team moomoo made some changes and allowed 100% of the cash to be put into cash plus, and that doubles the earning rate

We had the latest CPI numbers. They came in slightly hotter than expected. But the market seems muted.
The hotter CPI may complicate things a little in Fed’s inflation fight. But I think it’s unlikely to change the probability of Fed pausing their rate hike campaign for the upcoming FOMC meeting, which is taking place next week. If anything, they will probably raise in Nov.
Anyway, whether the Fed pause or raise interest rate, volatility will likely be here to stay as the macro environ...

I came across an article saying that Quolcom would be affected the most by this Huawei news.
I got short dated long puts for the end of the week in a few semi companies. As you can see, it paid off big...
