KB trader : Not surprising, i have been warning since last year… Sg has entered a prolong down cycle Q4 last year. The downward revision in valuation will set in gradually and naturally the stock price as well. If you have observed across property or assets heavy stocks, most of them have hit their respective 52 week lows or will be setting new low soon; the downcycle probably will last 15-18 months (till mid to end 2025). Be cautious, go for defensive counter to tight thru this period, it will be vicious when impairment cycle starts and easing of interest rate won’t be a panacea this time so dun hope for this. It has been priced in already.

KB trader : Stock prices are ahead of what is to come or expected…Peak earnings liaoz.. just like banks and property stocks.. we are entering a major downturn so we will be seeing impairments and earnings downward revisions going forward.
