This month of May is better…. but somehow; when i see the calendar… haha im surprise that i am more of red than green? I thought for May; I had sell more shares at profits but seems like perception is just a mirage. tried to make 31st a green day with my latest option trade on Alibaba…May I strive to Huat in june? 加油!

While I cannot compare to those mooers who have achieved huge returns, I am still satisfied with my progress. Although an 8% return may not be considered remarkable, I believe in the mantra of "slow and steady wins the race." It is important to stay consistent and stay focused on long-term growth. I am proud of my achievements and will continue to strive for success in the future.

I am more of a buy and hold kind of investor and I didn’t trade much this month. I’m quite happy with the figure displayed for this month. $Fullerton SGD Cash Fund(SG9999005961.MF$ has given me steady returns while the value of my stocks fluctuated. $Apple(AAPL.US$ is holding nicely in part due to share buybacks.

Rewinding to the last 4 for 1 stock split in 2021, $NVIDIA(NVDA.US$'s stock price climbed by 27%. This time, effective on June 10, $NVIDIA(NVDA.US$'s forward 10 for 1 stock split will result in 10 times more shares, 10 times lower stock price per share, and an unchanged market cap. My friends often ask me what they think of this stock.
First, looking at my own trading system, I am currently in a “junk market”, which means there is no clear, more likely direction that is bullish or bearish. If you want to do a good deal, you must analyze the market after making a choice before you can act. Any act of rushing ahead of the market is an act of a gambler.
The trend trading of US stocks is a system with a high win rate, while the opposite is true for Singaporean stocks; the market is mostly volatile. If you analyze this stock using a trend trading method, it is now a bearish trend. As mentioned earlier, most Singaporean stocks are volatile. The winning rate of trading is estimated to be 50%-60%. The winning rate is not high; the trend trading method is used as appropriate.
Off-topic: Everyone knows that when you gamble at a casino, the win rate is 50%: 50%, and the odds are 1:1. So as long as you gamble long enough, your assets will return to zero sooner or later. The stock market is also like a casino, but the odds are not the same here, and the win rate is not the same. What an investor needs to do is not to buy big and buy small based on feeling, but to invest through a trading system (quantification for short) that verifies winning rates and odds through a large number of samples. Gambling only sees your assets hide in the sky, and there is no end in sight, and real wealth is accumulated by countless definite small gains. I wish all friends a smooth transaction.

Morning mooers! It's Thursday, May 30th. The market indexes are in decline, and GDP numbers were revised lower, but overall, there is more green than red out there. My name is Kevin Travers, here are stories heard on Wall Street today:
If most equities were green, you would not believe it based on recent earnings reactions.
$UiPath(PATH.US$ fell 34% at open after the firm lowered its full year guidance during its earnings release, ...

With interest rates not likely to be cut this year, I am still holding cash in flexible instruments like money market funds $Fullerton SGD Cash Fund(SG9999005961.MF$ and $CSOP USD Money Market Fund(SGXZ96797238.MF$ . Read why here.
I will be looking to add to my positions in $DBS Group Holdings(D05.SG$ $OCBC Bank(O39.SG$ while waiting for REITS to recover. I am also looking to open a position in $NVIDIA(NVDA.US$ after the stock splits.
