$First Republic Bank(FRCB.US$ Share the future, which is also the reason for the bank stocks in Bastia, and after the panic there is bound to be a golden rain.

$First Republic Bank(FRCB.US$ Wonder where all the people who were calling for short squeezes to 10 - 30 dollars have gone to?
On a serious note, hope that people who read my previous posts followed my expected trading range for FRC after moving to OTC and sold out above 30c.
For the brave souls who want to long this counter, I suggest waiting for 10-15cents. But honestly, why would you want to buy any regional bank shares in this crazy climate? Better off keeping y...

$First Republic Bank(FRC.US$ For people who bought ordinary shares, there will be no payout by JPM or the government. Since the JPM deal only involves the takeover of assets and deposits, and not a full and total merger, FRC will remain as a shell company with its corporate debt and liabilities and minimal assets. Consider FRC as a pizza with all its delicious fillings removed by JPM, leaving the sad crust crumbs as the shell company ...

$First Republic Bank(FRCB.US$ The move to OTC is far quicker than expected. This changes my forecast of events for shareholders and options holders from my previous post titled: "For the people who are asking what will happen to their money"
Shareholders of FRC will now be able to sell their shares at the prevailing OTC exchange prices. As mentioned in my previous post, expecting a 10c to 1 dollar range. Definitely no possibility of ridiculous prices like 10 dollars...

101802833 quiet Badger_4520: The main ticker, FRC, was delisted. FRCB is just the pink sheet, ie the shell of FRC after its assets and deposits were bought out.
101802833 quiet Badger_4520: I'm not sure what you mean above. If you are asking what is left in this shell company now, it is mostly corporate debt that JP Morgan did not buy over when they took over most of FRC's assets and deposits. It is basically just a company with lots of debt and little to no revenue. A bit like a zombie company.
101802833 Jeff trader: You seem to be labouring under the delusion that this ticker, FRCB, includes employees of FRC that was taken in by JPM during their acquisition, and that the acquired assets and deposits that JPM acquired is still somehow belonging to FRCB. This cannot be further from the truth. When JPM took over FRC's assets and deposits, they have effectively become JPM's assets. When FRC employees go over to JPM due to the acquisition, they are effectively JPM's employees. Therefore all these assets, employees that JPM paid money for, is accounted for under the JPM ticker, not this FRCB ticker. FRCB has always been, and still is, a shell company comprising of corporate debt and preferred stock that JPM did not buy over.It is comments like these that really tempt me to want to do another FAQ post like I did for FRC in the past to dispel all the delusions and mistruths. If I see the situation calling for it, I will have to do it soon
101802833 Jeff trader: It is interesting that you think I am short this counter when it is a well known fact that shorting pink sheet OTC counters like these are much more inconvenient than normal listed counters in the NYSE. For the record, I do not hold any position in this counter, and have only been actively been in this forum correcting any misinformation that people like you may spread about this counter. In any case, I do not much care for what you do with your money, but rather, I care about you purposefully misleading fellow retailers into buying couners that have no credible basis. You may think how you want in terms of whether I am long or short this counter, but I believe my history of commenting on this counter back when it was FRC, and the amount of likes and forwards will speak for themselves
101802833 Jeff trader: As I said, you are free to speculate on my position on this counter. I believe time will tell who is the more balanced and sensible opinion in this open forum amongst the retailer community
