Deposit tokens are transferable digital currencies that represent deposit claims against commercial banks, essentially being a digital version of customer Account deposits. The difference from stablecoins is that stablecoins are usually tokens pegged to fiat currencies and backed 1:1 by high liquidity Assets such as government bonds.
The U.S. national debt is 36.8 trillion; if it needs to be resolved, stablecoins will be one important means; by issuing stablecoins, a large amount of Bitcoin (BTC) can be acquired (with Bitcoin backing the national debt) to help resolve the national debt.
