Overall Performance
In the second half of 2025, my portfolio on the moomoo platform gradually accumulated results. From June 25 to December 11, total assets reached CAD 11,954.28, with an accumulated gain of +CAD 965.87 and a time-weighted return rate of +12.77%. Although this was slightly lower than the S&P/TSX's +19.18%, it remained a robust performance amidst volatile market conditions. In terms of asset allocation, I maintained a ratio of 35.44% in cash and 64.56% in stocks, allowing me to participate in market upswings while retaining flexibility to respond to uncertainties.
Highlights and Challenges of Individual Stocks
Highlights:
SQQQ (Inverse ETF): Achieved a trading profit of +CAD 789.55, becoming one of the most successful operations this year.
Whitecap Resources (WCP) and Freehold Royalties (FRU): The energy stocks performed steadily, providing stable returns to the portfolio.
Pfizer CDR (PFE): Recorded a small profit in the tax-free account, demonstrating the value of defensive assets.
Challenges:
Occidental Petroleum (OXY): Incurred a loss of -CAD 216.28 in the tax-free account, reminding me of the importance of entry timing.
TELUS (T), BCE (BCE): High...

Last week, the Fed cut rates as expected. However, $Oracle (ORCL.US)$ and $Broadcom (AVGO.US)$ both saw their shares slump after earnings fell short of expectations. Weighed down by growing concerns over an AI bubble, the tech sector remained under pressure, leading to significant declines across all three major indices.

Hello mooers!
U.S. markets traded cautiously ahead of the Fed, but still inched higher — $NASDAQ 100 Index (.NDX.US)$+1.01%, $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$+0.31%, and $Russell 2000 Index (.RUT.US)$+0.84% — leaving the major indices just shy of new all-time highs. The more important story: mega-cap correlation has collapsed to the lowest level since 2019, signaling a market shifting from index-driven trades to ...

This quarter, I am paying close attention to inventory turnover, as it reflects whether Lululemon is effectively managing its inventory in response to demand fluctuations. Excess inventory or slower turnover may indicate reduced product appeal or overly optimistic sales expectations, which could impact gross margins and cash flow.
If I were to trade LULU, I would proceed cautiously and wait, given the current divergence in market expectations for consumer stocks and Lululemon’s relatively high valuation. Should earnings fail to exceed expectations, the stock price may face a correction. Additionally, I would monitor the progress of its international expansion and the growth momentum of its men’s apparel category; if these continue to drive improvements in revenue and profitability, I might consider taking a position on dips.

Asset Class: Stocks + ETFs I have chosen to allocate using a combination of individual stocks and ETFs. ETFs provide a foundation for diversifying risk, while individual stocks offer the potential to capture higher growth opportunities within specific industries.![[empty]](https://static.moomoo.com/node_futunn_nnq/assets/images/folder.5c37692712.png)
