Precious metals and rare earths are ripping today! Am grateful to have earned more than my crappy monthly pay via swing trading.
My portfolio is rather unconventional - 30% in precious metals, 15% in rare earths - as of the start of this week.
Have been swing trading gold and silver the past few days, it's super volatile. But ironically, the money is to be made when metals dump on a red day, and you enter to buy the dips. Then sell on a green day like today. No margin involved, so can hold if it drops further.
Today have taken profits on 15% of precious metals positions and 30% of rare earths.
Rare earths possibly will run up in the next few days further when Trump and Xi meet, as Trump needs to come begging cap in hand for rare earths to replenish his missile stockpile that was spammed in Iran.
Precious metals are running up cause of TACO Tuesday where Trump decided to chicken out and stop escorting ships in hormuz, causing oil to dump.
