Will the China Chip War Affect Earnings?

AMAT is one of the biggest chip suppliers. Did china's ban of rare earth elements have any effect on this companies earnings.

Apparently, the company is under investigation for violating trade restrictions in its sales to China. This could be adding the bearishness after hours.

The shares initially shot down to 145.00 after the earnings release. That is a very bad reaction with over a 6% drop immediately after the earnings numbers hit the news wire. It looks like there might be more downside also.

Things are not looking good so far. But this is a great company. The lower this ticker falls, then I think the better the buying opportunity will be. If this name falls to a strong support level, then I think we will see it get bought up.
