Bitcoin Rallies 14% From Recent Low: Breakout Ahead?
$Bitcoin (BTC.CC)$ There are 3 reasons for the Bitcoin price declined.
🪙Cooling Spot Demand & Legislative Headwinds: Investor sentiment was dampened by growing doubts surrounding the near-term passage of key U.S. crypto regulatory clarity legislation (such as the anticipated crypto market structure bills). While futures trading and institutional ETF inflows showed some resilience, underlying spot demand weakened.
🪙Macroeconomic Headwinds & Treasury Yields: Broader financial markets faced pressure from rising U.S. Treasury yields and higher oil prices tied to ongoing geopolitical tensions. This environment boosted the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding assets, driving investors back toward traditional equities and risk-off positions.
🪙Derivative Liquidation and Profit-Taking: On-chain metrics and exchange data highlighted moderate profit-taking by long-term holders. This was compounded by long liquidations in the derivatives market, where minor technical breakdowns triggered cascading stop-loss orders to accelerate the intraday pullback.
However, I noticed stronger supports from Buyers compared to last month. There should be sufficient support for a rebound soon.
