Why I Chose the $9 Warrants — Just Sharing My Own Thinking 💙🚀
I’ve been super busy all day, and I honestly didn’t even know when the warrants started trading.
When I finally checked, OPENW had already jumped to around $3 😹
From what I understand, OPENW should be the one that matches the “Series K” in the official report —
so the strike price is $9 and the expiration date is Nov 20, 2026.
Personally, I really believe that by then Opendoor’s share price will be much higher than $9.
Just my own view — not financial advice.
So when OPENW dropped back to $2, I bought a tiny bit.
I don’t have much money, but I still wanted to add a little… because if OPEN ever goes to something like $82, then I’d basically be paying $9 to get an $82 share 😂😂
Good luck to me!
The other two warrant tickers seem to have strike prices of $13 and $17, so I chose the $9 one.
I really think OPEN will at least return to the IPO price in the future. 😹🚀
I’m actually writing this while taking a short break — I just stopped the car to rest a bit because I’m still 1.5 hours away from home, and I only slept 3 hours last night. I’m really sleepy today so I needed a quick break.

And remember — stay patient, stay focused, and don’t let fear steal your future gains.
We’re all learning and growing together. 💙🚀

74823836 : The cartoon is so cute. I received L and W, but I didn't receive Z. How should I use what I've received? When should I start using it?
Xiaoya Chen OP 74823836 : You can buy or sell the warrants now, that part is already open.
But the exercise function is not open yet — the company hasn’t announced the exact start date for exercising.
The most important thing is:
please keep checking the official Opendoor announcements, because only the company can confirm when exercising will begin.
For now, just hold them and stay updated.
不想说话 : Is it only possible to choose one out of these three groups?
IPELove Xiaoya Chen OP : what if i dont sell?
74823836 : Please catch up on your rest. Reply to me when you have time. I just checked my W, which shows 1.82. Does this mean I can use 1.82 to buy OPEN stock? L is currently at 1.08. Can I buy it immediately at this price? How much can I purchase? Are there any restrictions? Thank you.
Xiaoya Chen OP 不想说话 : Haha honestly I only chose one because I don’t have much extra money

So I picked OPENW — the one with the $9 strike price.
The other two are $13 and $17, and I personally feel the stock will pass $9 much sooner.
But that’s just my own thinking, not financial advice!
Everyone should choose based on their own situation
74823836 不想说话 : So you choose the cheaper one, correct? How do I purchase it? I don't see my Z.
Xiaoya Chen OP 74823836 : Hi! Don’t worry — the number you see (1.82 or 1.08) is only the trading price of the warrant, not the exercise price.

When the company first distributed the warrants, the cost basis was $0 because they were free rewards.
Honestly I feel it’s a bit of a pity that I didn’t notice when they first became tradable — some people were selling them for around $0.30 because they didn’t understand the value of warrants at all
You cannot use 1.82 to buy OPEN shares.
That price is just what the warrant itself is trading at today.
The official strike prices set by Opendoor are:
• W = $9
• L = $13
• Z = $17
Right now you can only trade the warrants.
You cannot exercise them yet — the company hasn’t opened the exercise window.
Please keep checking Opendoor’s official announcements for the exact timing, because only the company can confirm it.
And just to share one more thing:
Warrants only become meaningful if OPEN rises in the future.
For example, if OPENW truly has a $9 strike price, then even if $open goes to $100… $200… or even $500, you would still only need to pay $9 to exercise it.
That’s the advantage of the W series.
The L and Z warrants are cheaper to buy right now, but their strike prices are higher ($13 and $17).
Please always double-check these details with the official documents to stay 100% accurate.
Maremare : It’s a cozy but slightly melancholic. Are you overwhelmed by cats while checking stock charts?
Xiaoya Chen OP Maremare : Haha not really — I wasn’t overwhelmed by the cats
I actually wasn’t feeling well today, and I still had to drive a long way home.
And on top of that, I realized I completely missed the very first OPENW trading price… it was around $0.30 when it opened!
If I didn’t have to leave early to go to class, I probably wouldn’t have missed it.
So yeah… a little bit tired and a little bit sad at the same time haha
