Whats everyones thoughts on Canadian hedged big American stocks? (apple, facebook, disney)
It just got made readily available I think in the past month or so where you can now get Cad hedged versions of the same tech stocks that are listed American for a cheaper price.
Examples: $Amazon(AMZN.US$ , $Meta Platforms(META.US$ , $Apple(AAPL.US$ to name a few. As someone who uses wealth simple I’m glad I can get in on the action without having to worry about the conversion fee’s now.

BelleWeather : I think arbitrage is a great idea as well. When I held ETF-like positions, I chose a Scottish CEF that held the Mag 7 equities, trading at a discount to NAV. I’m not aware of any pitfalls. Perhaps ask an LLM about potential drawbacks?
