US stocks closed sharply lower with rising investor worries about more interest rate hikes and the Israel-Hamas conflict spreading.

🌱Suntec REIT reported a distribution per unit of 1.793 cents for the third quarter of 2023, declining 14% decline compared to the previous year. An improvement in the operational performance of the REIT’s properties was offset by higher financing costs and a weaker Australian dollar against the Singapore dollar.
🌱Yangzijiang Financial’s CEO Vincent Toe has resigned from the company to pursue other opportunities, and its Executive Chairman Ren Yuanlin will assume the role of CEO.
🌱CapitaLand Investment, Venture Corp and Yangzijiang Financial led companies making share buybacks in the five trading sessions ending 19 October.
