LooseMoose : Not necessarily the case, in this situation right now, the average daily float is more than enough to cover whatever shares they need to purchase for their obligations. Remember, it’s not just about shorts that are open, but also about the amount of shares that change hand on an average daily basis.

Everything is setting up already for a repeat of 2021. Andrew Left is shorting GME and AMC, both of these stocks beating low shorts now lowers the floating stocks a little bit, and word will spread. Well probably see a spike next week if not post market today
