CaptainBoi : I think Palantir had it’s run. Yes revenues are growing year over year. AI is the future, but current valuations are overstretched and don’t make sense at least in the short term.
约翰の理财库 OP CaptainBoi : I get where you’re coming from, valuation does look stretched on paper. Remember people said Tesla was overvalued at $100B too. Then came margins, scaling, and market capture. PLTR might just be on that same curve. Over the next 500 days, as AI demand hits real world application and defense tech goes parabolic, Palantir’s narrative could shift from ‘overhyped’ to ‘undeniable.’
CaptainBoi 约翰の理财库 OP : We’ll see. I mean palantir could be the next defense contractor and provide sustained revenues. We are pricing what the company in the future would be. We live in a incredible time where information > money. But I wouldn’t rush to buy at these levels maybe when it was 100 dollars or below. I mean it’s an AI company and you need to believe in the AI story. However if investors get impatient, and start questioning profits/ revenues or aren’t on par with expectations say after your 500 days then a significant pull back is likley. Not saying it’s a bad company but a bit stretched. Say when it was a 70-90 or below it was good entry point. Will it rise more in the future maybe. But I like proof of concept. Could it be a 1T sollar company some day and I missed the boat. So be it, I have nvidia and loaded alot from 88-90s range so I benefit regardless of what happens to palantir.
约翰の理财库 OP CaptainBoi : Fair points and to clarify, I’m not in PLTR yet. It’s on my watchlist for the next 500 days and scouting for the right entry. What caught my eye is they’re one of the few AI names with real contracts and deployment. If execution stumbles, sure it pulls back. But if they keep landing wins, this might be the last time it trades near these levels. Same way people called Nvidia overvalued at every stage. Execution changed the narrative.
