Wealth Accummulation thru Long-term Investment
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD.US$ $NVIDIA(NVDA.US$ $iShares Bitcoin Trust(IBIT.US$ Attached below is a clip I came across while researching Bitcoin in the last many weeks. Michael Saylor shared his view abt wealth accummulation by investing over the long term. This is just a 12 min long video. Good to listen to the whole thing because there are good pts to be learned.
Pay attention to the beginning, then from 2:08 when Saylor started explaining there is no guarantee all short term trades will work no matter how intelligent a person is & then also around the 5:35 mark where Saylor described 2 types of people, the long term investor & the short term traders (some I think are gamblers), the latter which exactly matches some of the people in this forum e.g. "told you to sell", "short this". He is talking abt bitcoin but the same is true for stocks investment.
If you think AI is significant development in the next few years, then down days like this are opportunities to start a position/accumulate shares of companies that are driving the technology. Don't chase when price spikes & panic sell when price drops. Stock price movements in the short term does not equate the company's operational/financial performance.
