Walmart Announces Layoffs and Relocations for Remote Workers
Walmart is laying off employees at its headquarters and requiring most remote workers in the U.S. and Canada to relocate to designated offices in Bentonville, Arkansas, the San Francisco Bay Area, or New Jersey.
This move, aimed at improving communication and corporate culture, affects remote and global tech department employees in Dallas, Atlanta, and Toronto.
Affected employees must decide by July 1 whether to relocate or accept a severance package.
Walmart has communicated these changes to all impacted staff.
