10baggerbammOP Salmon Klein: there may be there may not be so at the risk of not having a dip because we could have some more we have a little profit taking today but then continuation tomorrow you can sell a put your risk is less than owning the common because you're going to pick a strike price lower than the current market where you'd like to enter you'll collect a small premium if the stock falls you get put the stock. your risk is the strike price that you get put the stock minus the premium that you collected would be your cost basis. so if it's your intention to hold it you're fine but also understand that if bad news comes out in the stock gets down 10 points you're going to own it at that strike and you're going to have to accept it you'll be put to stock and you will be down the difference just like if you were a long shareholder
