US stocks

U.S. stocks ended six consecutive gains, and the Dow Jones Index closed down 31 points on Tuesday.

After opening 24 points higher, the Dow rebounded up to 125 points, up to 39,439 points; the index rose 0.33%, while the NASDAQ, which mainly focuses on technology stocks, rose 0.56%; at the end of the year, the three major US stock indices all fell.

The US market closed, and the Dow fell 31 points, or 0.08%, to 39,282 points; the indicator fell 0.28% to 5,203 points, for the 3rd consecutive trading day; the NASDAQ retracted 0.42% to 16,315 points; and the Golden Dragon Index, which reflects the performance of Chinese concept stocks, retreated 0.55%.
