Grifols (GRF.MC) said Thursday its automated nucleic acid test secured CE marking, representing the first for the medical device.
Procleix ArboPlex Assay is designed to screen blood donors to detect arboviruses diseases such as chikungunya, dengue, West Nile, and Zika viruses.
The Spanish pharmaceutical group said the test will soon be available worldwide to those accepting the CE mark and upon meeting further registration and notification requirements.
