YAL : Buffett bought Occidental Petroleum from 2022-2024. OXY traded at a price of $73 in 2022, and has fallen to $46 today, no matter which dips you bought in that timeframe you would have lost investing in a 3 year window unless you were trading price action.
If youve done your research and know exactly what it is you are buying and where it is likely headed, then its not a problem. if you dont know how to research or dont have the time but you just trust Buffett so much, why dont you just buy Berkshire shares and let professional money managers manage your portfolio for you? Their shares are a perfect proxy for their investment themes and decisions. Otherwise if you just trade on filmsy headlines like this without proper understanding of what you are buying its gonna bite you hard one day, if not this then definitely something else down the line.
SAHM : yes it still cheap even if the market crash drop 90%. DCA all the way.....just have to allocation certain portion but not all in.
