$U.S. 30-Year Treasury Bonds Yield (US30Y.BD)$ The specifics...
The specifics of next week's refinancing bond issuance plan are as follows:
Issued $480 billion of 3-year bonds on November 7, up from $420 billion in the previous quarter
Issued $400 billion of 10-year Treasury bonds on November 8, up from $380 billion in the previous quarter
Issued $240 billion of 30-year bonds on November 9, up from $230 billion in the previous quarter
“The Ministry of Finance plans to gradually increase the size of the benchmark sale of fixed rate bonds and FRNs (floating rate notes), but the increase in sales of longer-term Treasury bonds will be more moderate,” the statement said.
Supply is expected to fall and long-term debt yields to fall. But the total is still too much. Look at the performance of 9/11.
