The opening ceremony of Morimatsu Suzhou (Changshu) Production Base was successfully held

On April 12, 2024, Morimatsu (Suzhou) LifeSciences Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Morimatsu International Holding Co., Ltd ("Morimatsu International", stock code: 2155. HK), held an opening ceremony in Changshu Economic Development Zone, Suzhou. The official opening of the new production base will further release production capacity and continue to empower the quality development of the life and health industry. It will also mark a milestone for Morimatsu in its industrial layout.

Relevant senior government officials, executives of Morimatsu, friends and partners from all walks of life attended the ceremony to witness this critical moment, with attendees including Zhou Qindi, Secretary of Changshu Municipal Party Committee, Qin Meng, Mayor of Changshu, Chen Guodong, Member of Standing Party Committee of Changshu, Matsuhisa Terumoto, Chairman of Morimatsu Group and Morimatsu International Holding Co., Ltd, Nishimatsu Koei, CEO of Morimatsu Group and Morimatsu International, and Tang Weihua, Executive Director and Senior Vice President of Morimatsu Group and Morimatsu International Holding Co., Ltd., and General Manager of Morimatsu (Suzhou) LifeSciences Co., Ltd.

Morimatsu Suzhou Changshu Plant started construction in July 2022 and after a year and a half, it was successfully put into production with all parties' hard work and support. This new modernized factory, which integrates high automation, intelligence and sustainability, has realized the function of off-site collaboration with Shanghai, Wuhan and Nantong. In this period when the country is accelerating the development of new quality productive forces, Morimatsu is focusing on the resource-rich Yangtze River Delta region, actively exerting the power of scientific and technological innovation, facilitating the digital transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, and continuously shaping the new driving force and new advantages of development to promote the social productivity to achieve a new leap forward.

The completed project is the first phase project of Morimatsu (Suzhou) LifeSciences Co., Ltd, which covers an area of about 130,000 square meters. This new modern factory, which integrates automation, intelligence, and sustainability, is dedicated to providing excellent core equipment, process systems, and digital-intelligent total factory solutions and services, and will expand capacity to the global pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, cosmetic, medical and beauty, daily chemical, and FMCG industries. It also vividly reflects how Morimatsu strengthens its global strategic layout, continuously delivers its full-life-cycle products and services, and builds the Morimatsu brand with international influence and competitiveness.

After the ceremony, the guests visited Morimatsu's showroom and manufacturing workshop. The guests recognized Morimatsu's cultural concept, technical strength, production capacity, and had high expectations for Morimatsu's future development.
