The Bank of Japan left the amount of regular government bond purchase operations unchanged. In the previous operation, the amount moved to an unexpected reduction while upward pressure was applied to interest rates, but while the progress of depreciation of the yen stopped in the exchange market, continuous reductions were postponed.
The Bank of Japan left the purchase amount unchanged for the remaining period of 1 year to 3 years or less, 3 years to 5 years or less, 5 years to 10 years or less, and 25 years or more due to financial adjustments on the morning of the 17th. The last operation on the 13th was reduced by 50 billion yen for 5 to 10 years or less.
