$Tesla(TSLA.US$ Turns out that BYD dealers have close to 500,000 units in stock.
In the company’s financial sheet they figure as SOLD, although they haven’t been purchased by any client.

That is also supported by the LONG inventory BYD has: about 70 days (production surplus). So they are not sold cars…
STILL, we don’t know how many of them are EVs and how many BEVs to be detracted from the total 1,6 million competing with the over 1,8 REAL sales from Tesla (Tesla has no dealers and no middlemen between the company and its clients: no sales numbers to be manipulated).
Quite WORRING for BYD, considering they declared having overtaken Tesla in Q4 (but not in the whole 2023 result).
Let’s see how Q1/24 turns out: they can’t continue growing inventory at the expense of dealers 🤦🤦🤦

ZnWC : I am also impressed by how fast the various media in reporting BYD surpassed Tesla in BEV Q4 delivery but keep mumps about Tesla beaten BYD in BEV Yearly delivery. I could hardly find any source except in this from X.com which just to show how negative bias the media or journals are against Tesla.
