$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ My 190.53 short position is doing just fine. I mentioned it yesterday at the time I made the trade. Currently 187.00. Adjusted my stop loss to 188.50 to lock in a profit, and I'll adjust it again if the price continues south. I'm looking to revisit 184 area or lower, but who knows? This is not financial advice, nor am I a fortune teller. Just the facts. The market is never wrong.

  • 102313005 : Ok and who is asking?

  • SPACELIGHTOP 102313005: Nobody asked. The only thing I'm interested in this comment section and rarely read is how and why someone made a trade, entry and exit area, stop loss, etc. That's what I share. Maybe someone will get something out of it.

  • 102313005 SPACELIGHTOP: Thanks buddy

  • Andre88888888 : Showing relative strength lately from 180 level, would set tight stops and monitor closely. Goodluck! Have 195 calls personally 1month out

  • SPACELIGHTOP Andre88888888: Interesting comment. Thanks.

  • SPACELIGHTOP Andre88888888: I've stayed away from option trading because I don't understand it, and it seems highly risky to me. But I also get the leverage a trader has and the profit potential if the price moves in his direction before the option expires. Do you have any recommendations for learning the nuts and bolts to option trading, book, website, article, etc?

  • Andre88888888 SPACELIGHTOP: Honestly options are risky and I experimented with it myself as I find paper trading not real time. Burnt about 20k over a year tho. But I learn things the hard way xD. Time decay is your enemy, so I would recommend buying options far from expiration. When I first started I bought weeklies and lost almost 80% of the time due to decay. You have theta and delta which calculates your intristic value of the option, which can be found out easily through the web it's termed "Greeks"

  • SPACELIGHTOP : You confirm my feeling about options, risky, too risky. I finally have a good handle on day trading stocks after several years of trying, and though it isn't the quick road to riches by far, it's steadily profitable. I'm best off sticking with what I know works for me.
