Overseas users can now register or log in to WeChat using foreign phone numbers.
They can link international cards like VISA $Visa(V.US$ , Mastercard $MasterCard(MA.US$ , and American Express $American Express(AXP.US$ to WeChat Pay.
UnionPay Tour Cards can be opened and linked via WeChat Pay for overseas users.
WeChat Pay now has interoperability with PayNet in Malaysia for barcode payments.
Tencent's Tenpay Global will connect with more domestic wallets outside China in the future.
