Tencent's major shareholder Prosus: holds 2.36 billion shares of Tencent with a market value of 84.7 billion US dollars
Tencent's major shareholders had further disclose their holdings in Tencent.
On January 10th local time, Tencent's major shareholder, $Prosus N.V. Sponsored ADR(PROSY.US$ , a Dutch subsidiary of $NASPERS LTD ADR(NPSNY.US$ in South Africa, disclosed its holdings of 2.3635 billion shares in Tencent. Prosus also disclosed its holdings of 257.5 million shares in $MEITUAN-W(03690.HK$ , 79.6 million shares in European food delivery giant Delivery Hero, and 30 million shares in Ctrip.
According to Prosus, as of January 10th, the market value of Tencent held is $84.7 billion, the market value of Meituan held is $2.4 billion, and the market value of $Trip.com(TCOM.US$ Ctrip held is $1.12 billion.
On December 7th of last year, the official website of Prosus disclosed data showing that Prosus sold 513500 shares of Tencent common stock, and its shareholding ratio has dropped to 24.99%.
