Tech stocks may have run ahead of their fundamentals
I think technology stocks, especially those that have been buoyant by the hype on artificial intelligence, may have run ahead of their fundamentals, as AI earning have yet to materialise in their bottom lines despite the growing prevalence of AI applications. With a sticky inflation, interest rates are expected to remain higher for longer, restricting investments and growth of technology stocks which are particularly sensitive to interest rates.
